Dear Parents, WELCOME, to our website for Pre-Nursery and Nursery.
It's amazing to realize that your young learner has taken his first and very important step towards formal learning. The first school year is going to be filled with a lot of learning opportunities for you and your child. Every month we will share a monthly curriculum pacing guide to let you know what we will be learning and exploring throughout that month. We will also share ideas about activities that you can do at home to help your child with the new skills learned at school.
Learning Themes
Learning Themes
Most themes will last a month. However, some of the themes will last two weeks. Most learning activities will be based on these themes. Some of the themes will also have weekly sub-themes. knowledge of these themes will help you plan more effective home learning activities.
Homework
Homework
Once the child is ready for writing, we'll start sending homework. Most of kids start getting homework in September. Daily homework includes reading and writing practice. Homework folders will be given from Tuesday - Friday and kids are required to bring them back the next working day. Along with
Show and Tell
Show and Tell
'Show and Tell' is an exciting confidence building activity which also enhances children's language capabilities. Kids will be required to bring in an object of their choice. Some times there will be a criteria. You will be informed of your child's 'show and tell' schedule and other details through ClassDojo.
